Terms and Conditions of Study at Al-Walid Academy
We are truly delighted to welcome you to our educational family at Alwaleed Academy .
We wish you and your children an enjoyable and fruitful journey in learning the Holy Qur’an, the Arabic language, and Islamic studies.At our academy, we believe that education is not just lessons and classes, but rather a mission through which we build faith, instill the love of the Qur’an, and help students take steady steps towards a future filled with goodness and success.
We have carefully set these terms and guidelines, not to impose restrictions, but to ensure:
• Continuity of the educational process in an organized and smooth manner.
• Achieving the best possible benefit for every student.
• Mutual cooperation between the academy, the student, and the parent.
We kindly ask you to read these terms carefully, as they are designed primarily for the benefit of your children and to ensure the continuity of their journey with knowledge and the Qur’an in the best way.
1. Commitment to Class Times
• Students must adhere to the scheduled class times agreed upon in advance.
• In case the student is late, the class will begin from the time of their entry without compensation for the lost time.
2. Absence and Rescheduling
• If the student attends 3 or more classes per week, they are entitled to reschedule only 2 classes per month.
• Class cancellation must be made at least 7 to 12 hours before the scheduled time.
• Any cancellation made 3–4 hours before the class will be counted as taken.
3. Payment
• Tuition fees must be paid in advance at the beginning of each month.
• Failure to pay will result in immediate suspension of classes until payment is made.
• The subscription amount will not be refunded if the student advances his subscription by 25%.
• The subscription fee will be refunded if the student wishes to withdraw and does not attend any classes within a maximum period of one week.
4. Teacher Reports
• The teacher will send a monthly report that includes:
A summary of progress and achievements.
The plan for the upcoming month (can be briefly discussed with the student during class if preferred).
New goals for the student.
5. Teacher Responsibilities
Any absence by the teacher will be compensated with a make-up class or a deduction from the invoice.
• Any delay by the teacher will be compensated within the same class.
6. Trial Lesson Policy
• The trial lesson is free of charge only once per student.
• No student may request more than one trial lesson.
7. Discounts and Offers
• The academy offers special discounts when referring new students or when more than one family member enrolls.
• Discounts cannot be combined unless approved by management.
8. General Commitments
• The student must prepare their device, internet connection, and Zoom (or the approved platform) before the class begins.
• The academy is not responsible for any technical issues on the student’s side (internet disconnection, device failure, etc.).
