Terms and Conditions
We are truly pleased to welcome you to Al-Walid Academy, and we pray that your journey in learning the Qur’an, Arabic language, and Islamic studies will be beneficial and fruitful.
These terms have not been set as restrictions, but rather to ensure:
- A smooth and well-organized learning experience
- Steady and effective progress for every learner
- Clear cooperation between the academy and all students
We kindly ask you to read these terms carefully, as they are designed to support your learning journey and help you achieve the best results, insha’Allah.
Commitment to Class Times
- The student must adhere to the class times agreed upon in advance.
- If the student is late, the class will begin from the time of entry, with no compensation for the lost time.
Absence and Rescheduling
- If the student attends 3 classes or more per week, they are entitled to reschedule only 2 classes per month.
- A class cancellation request must be made at least 7 to 12 hours before the scheduled class time. The latest acceptable notice is 4 hours before the class.
- Any cancellation made less than that will be counted as a taken class.
Payment
- Tuition fees must be paid in advance at the beginning of each month.
- If payment is not made, classes will be suspended immediately until payment is completed.
- The subscription fee is non-refundable if the student has used 25% of the subscription.
- The subscription fee will be refunded if the student wishes to withdraw and has not attended any classes, provided that this is within a maximum period of one week.
All subscription packages are valid for a maximum of 30 days only (one month). An additional grace period of up to 7 days may be granted when needed. After that period, the subscription will be considered expired, and any remaining classes cannot be carried over unless a new subscription is purchased.
Teacher Reports
- The teacher will send a monthly report including:
- A summary of progress and achievements.
- The plan for the upcoming month, which may be briefly discussed with the student during class if preferred.
- New goals for the student.
Teacher Responsibilities
- Any absence on the teacher’s part will be compensated with a make-up class or a deduction from the invoice.
- Any delay on the teacher’s part will be compensated within the same class.
Trial Lesson Policy
- The trial lesson is free of charge once or twice only for each student.
- No student is entitled to request more than two trial lessons.
Discounts and Offers
- The academy offers special discounts when referring new students or when more than one member of the same family enrolls.
- Discounts cannot be combined unless approved by the management.
General Commitments
- The student must prepare their device, internet connection, and Zoom or the approved platform before the class begins.
- The academy is not responsible for any technical issues on the student’s side, such as internet disconnection or device malfunction, except in emergency circumstances.
